Renata Dalton, a veteran of the international oil and gas industry, has joined the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) and North American Blueberry Council (NABC) as global business manager.
In this new role, Dalton will support Alicia Adler, vice president of global business development, by assisting with the management, coordination and evaluation of the USHBC/NABC export promotion, trade and technical affairs, and food and ingredient programs. She’ll also produce and evaluate critical industry data and analysis.
“As a contractor for the last 14 months, Renata has provided great support to our staff and international team, improving our grant financial management process and contributing to our export program development,” Adler said. “Adding a staff position in this area speaks to the industry’s prioritization and focus on export market development programs.”
In her previous role with USHBC/NABC, Dalton was responsible for grant and financial administrative support services for USHBC’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) trade programs and the global food manufacturer publicity program. She also executed 12 grant-funded international programs for USA Blueberries.
“I‘m excited to continue growing our current markets, developing new global business opportunities for NABC/USHBC stakeholders and helping make blueberries the world’s favorite fruit,” Dalton said.
