North American Blueberry Council Announces Results of Board of Directors Election
FOLSOM, Calif., Dec. 1, 2025 – The North American Blueberry Council (NABC) today released the results of its recent board of directors election. Terms for newly elected, returning, reappointed and newly appointed board members begin Jan. 1, 2026.
The NABC board is charged with addressing issues, opportunities and industry practices that drive success and profitability in the production and distribution of blueberries in North America and around the world.
Over the past three years, the NABC’s board leadership has taken a bold approach to further develop and drive the organization’s mission and scope, leading to unprecedented membership growth – with 136 new members in 2025 alone – now representing over 290 members across North America and worldwide.
Newly elected to the board are:
- Anna Jesse, U.S. North American Grower
- Manolo Reyes, Mexican North American Grower
- Chad Hansen, North American Distributor
Elected to return to the board for another three-year term is:
- Bo Slack, North American Distributor
Nonvoting members reappointed to the board by Chair Teddy Koukoulis are:
- Gonzalo Canessa, International Grower
- Harold Mongrut, International Distributor
Nonvoting member newly appointed to the board by Chair Teddy Koukoulis is:
- Itai Kanot, Supplier Member
